Giraffe (Lake Nakuru National Park)

Giraffe is the tallest living quadruped donning spotted coat and small horns and very long neck and legs. Giraffe are common in savannahs of tropical Africa. In Kenya, they are quite common and they are a site to behold as the walk gracefully and pick the tender leaves from the top of tall trees.

The water levels of Lake Nakuru seems to be rising every day. It has claimed back a big chunk of the forest. Most of the submerged trees have since died. Our attention was was caught by this dry part of the forest ironically submerged in the lake.
